mY story
After twenty years spent teaching French abroad, in Addis Ababa, Dubai and London, I returned to the Pays de la Loire region to set up Les Ateliers du Grenier à Sel, a company providing educational support and language services, which combines my past professional experience and my personal experience of supporting expatriate students who have gone through different school systems.
My vision
Attentive and open-minded, my main objective is to develop internationally-minded students who are able to communicate effectively with people from other countries and cultures.
I want to help each learner to achieve their goals in an engaging and relaxed environment, and to offer a variety of opportunities for each student to progress at their own pace.
MY BELIEFS
I am a proponent of active learning and use a variety of methods to encourage discussion and interaction on the issues the course presents.
I believe that the target language should be used as much as possible in the classroom, that the teacher should make the class fun and enjoyable for the students and finally that the students should be as involved as possible.
The use of technology in modern classrooms is an excellent way to ensure these goals and enhance the experience both for the student and the teacher.
